“students who were learning online OUT PERFORMED those students learning in a face-to-face environment” surprises me. Learning without on-line access is certainly limiting, but I would have thought that “face-to-face” is still more effective. Or . . . ., is this a sad commentary on the state of education, and teacher qualifications, in the United States?
