I happened upon that discussion on Linked In too. It was really interesting to see the range of responses...

A point on headshots-- they can be fairly inexpensive to get.  In my area (West Michigan) I know of several freelance photographers who are just getting their start.  Some charge as little as $75 and with digital technology, it&#039;s really easy to upload the jpg file.  Just be sure to negotiate the rights to use the photo. Ask your friends-- especially ones with small kids-- they&#039;ll know who&#039;d doing photography on the cheap.</description>
